Manufacturing Export Readiness Call
Certification and export-readiness support for light manufacturers in all three countries targeting EU and regional markets.
The window
What this call funds
A light manufacturer in the region is often one certificate, one machine or one buyer introduction away from an export contract. This window — the fund’s largest — is built around closing that last gap rather than starting a new one.
Grants of €15,000 to €75,000 cover CE marking and other conformity work, testing and laboratory costs, production equipment that removes a quality bottleneck, packaging that survives freight, and participation in buyer matchmaking and trade fairs in Europe and the Gulf.

This call covers
- Registered manufacturer in Palestine, Jordan or Tunisia
- Between 10 and 250 employees
- At least three completed financial years
- A product already sold domestically, with a defined export target market
- Management commitment to the certification timetable in writing
This call does not cover
- Assembly or repackaging with no manufacturing step in-country
- General marketing not tied to a named buyer or market
- Land, buildings or vehicles
- Costs recoverable under another donor-funded programme

The window is not open yet. Can I prepare?
Yes, and you should. The guidance notes and the full requirement list are published on the day the window opens; the paperwork on the Apply page is the same for every LEAP window.
Do you fund CE marking?
Yes — conformity assessment, testing, technical files and the consultancy to assemble them are all eligible.
Is the Gulf an eligible export market?
Yes. The EU is the most common target but any defined export market with an identified buyer or distributor qualifies.
