Green Growth Pilot 2025
Closed. A pilot window for resource efficiency, circular production and renewable energy in MSMEs across the three countries.
Results
The fund’s first thematic window closed in February. What it taught is now assessed on every application, not only the green ones.
The Green Growth Pilot ran from October 2025 to February 2026 and funded 24 MSMEs across the three countries to cut energy and water use, recover waste as an input, or move a production step onto renewable power.
The recurring finding was that resource efficiency almost never arrived as a standalone project. It arrived attached to something else — a new machine, a new packaging line, a certification — and it paid for itself fastest when it was designed in rather than bolted on.
That is why energy and waste are now scored on every LEAP application as a cross-cutting priority. A successor thematic window is expected in the 2027 cycle.
