An Amman software firm turned a tool it had built for one logistics client into a product two regional markets now pay for.
Measured
Nashama Digital spent four years building bespoke software for Jordanian logistics companies. It was profitable and it did not scale: every new customer meant starting again.
The grant funded the work nobody pays a consultancy to do — turning the eighth bespoke build into one product, with the multi-tenancy, the Arabic and English interfaces and the documentation that lets a customer start without an engineer on site. A LEAP advisor worked on the pricing and the first two export contracts.
The company now sells the same product in two markets outside Jordan and has hired twelve people, most of them into roles that did not exist when the grant was awarded.
We were being paid to build the same thing eight times. The grant paid for the ninth to be a product.
