Tourism and hospitality
Guesthouses, tour operators and experience designers digitising booking, marketing and guest experience.
Where we work
Nationwide — entrepreneurship, tourism and supply-chain growth.
The programme
The Amman office covers the whole of Jordan, from the technology firms of the capital to the tourism operators of Petra, Aqaba and the north. It is the fund’s largest country portfolio and its most varied.
Jordan’s constraint is rarely the idea and often the next customer: a supplier contract, an export licence, a hotel booking system that works. LEAP Fund’s Jordanian windows pair grant capital with buyer matchmaking, digitisation and export readiness, and are open to all three tracks — founders, microbusinesses and growth-stage enterprises.
Priorities
Set by the country team, from what businesses here are actually blocked on.
Guesthouses, tour operators and experience designers digitising booking, marketing and guest experience.
Manufacturers and service firms qualifying as suppliers to larger regional buyers.
Early-stage founders with a validated idea, taking the first step from prototype to paying customer.
Funding
For tourism microbusinesses in Jordan and Tunisia digitising booking, marketing or the guest experience.
First capital for early-stage founders in Palestine, Jordan and Tunisia with a validated idea and a first customer in sight.
Certification and export-readiness support for light manufacturers in all three countries targeting EU and regional markets.
Portfolio
Jordan
A small Amman workshop cut its offcut waste by a third, and turned the recovered material into a product line three B2B buyers now order.
3New export contracts
Jordan
An Amman software firm turned a tool it had built for one logistics client into a product two regional markets now pay for.
